HOW IT HAPPENED
-Senior Elise Towers (Cicero, N.Y.), junior Ashley Tango (Reading, Mass.) and sophomore Cate Diamond (Hingham, Mass.) each scored a goal for the Green and White. Junior Lauren Drakeley (Woodbury, Conn) recorded her eighth assist of the season giving her ten points on the year.
-Towers got the Beavers on the board in the third minute of play after a deflection off the goalie put the ball in her possession in which she notched her second goal of the year. After a plethora of shots and penalty corners, Diamond launched a through ball from Drakeley into the back of the cage to give Babson a 2-0 lead entering the half.
-In the 69th minute of play, Tango found herself in the middle of the circle as she rocketed the ball into the back of the cage past the cougar defense to secure the Beaver 3-0 victory.
